About this book

David Watson was head boy at Wellington College and an exhibitioner of St John's College, Cambridge, where he was converted from atheism. His first job as an ordained minister was among the dockers at Gillingham, but he became best known while at St Michael-le-Belfrey, York, where he established an influential teaching ministry that took him all over the world. This biography speaks about the cost involved, including David's depression.
