Revolution is the story of Latin America. Mexican-born Peter Gonzales has witnessed it first hand. Injustice, oppression, violence, and persecution hold the people in an iron grip with apparently no way out. Peter became convinced there was only one solution: 'Jesus offers the opportunity for a change of heart, a new person. And if that can happen there will be justice because people will want justice.'
Peter watches this revolution of love touching Chile El Salvador. Guatemala, Cuba, and Nicaragua, working first with the United Bible Societies, then with Brother Andrew of Open Doors. His story, and that of his remarkable family, is one of challenge and drama. He began as a shoe -shine boy and now works full-time for Open Doors; one of his brothers leads a literacy campaign in Nicaragua and another is organising co-operatives for artisans in Mexico; a sister is writing books about fighting injustice They are all 'prophets of revolution', motivated by a burning Christian faith, and seeing God powerfully at work in a land of devastating social and political upheaval,
