About this book
Joel Osteen is one of the most noted televangelists in the world. His services at Lakewood Church draw 40,000 per week, and are watched by millions around the world. His books sell in the millions; Become A Better Youhas sold over 1.4 million since it released in October, 2007. It was a number 1 bestseller everywhere and has been on the New York Timeslist for 6 months now. The tie-in projects, the Become A Better You Journal and Become A Better You Daily Readings, promise to reach a similar audience.
2009 marks the 50th anniversary of Lakewood Church, which was founded in 1959 by Joel's parents, Pastors John and Dodie Osteen. To commemorate this impressive milestone, Joel has compiled the Osteen Family Bible. The bible features special lead-in paragraphs throughout, with Joel pointing out special passages and meanings of particular sections. This will be an incredible keepsake for the millions of supporters who love Joel, and for avid readers of the bible.
