About this book
This book shows how the story of the good news of Jesus, as told by Luke in his Gospel, has been told in stained glass throughout New Zealand. And just as the Gospel story can change lives, so too can windows inspire, uplist and enlighten - and, because they illustrate the Word of God, change lives. The complete text of Luke's Gospel is included, using the easy-to-read, easy-to-understand Contemporary English Version, with the illustrations carefully placed alongside the relevant passage. Most of the windows chosen for this book are from churches in New Zealand; for completeness, a few have been selected from churches in other countries. A useful index of all churches, and all Gospel references, is provided at the back of the book...
