About this book
Jesus came to earth to rectify a universe that had been broken by rebellion in heaven and rebellion on earth.Jesus came to restore the Kingdom of God. This mission reached its culmination in the 50 days between the first Good Friday and the Day of Pentecost and reached its climax with the coming of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost.50 Days That Transform the Universe challenges us to embrace the fullness of all that Jesus brought to earth during these 50 days of transformation. It is only through this fullness that the Church is able to fulfill her own mission to re-present the ministry of Jesus, which came with word and power. Only in this way will we be able to partner with God to bring in his Kingdom. This book traverses the four major events that happened during these 50 days; the cross, the resurrection, the ascension and Pentecost. It explores the ongoing impact of these events, not only in theological understanding but also in many practical areas of Christian life and ministry. Jesus came to bring fire on the earth - the fire of the Holy Spirit - and this flows from the events of those 50 days. 50 Days That Transform The Universe has the capacity to transform the readers thinking and experience.
